The pictures below show a major metropolitan underground parking lot that had water intrusion and slip and fall issues. We went in and used Durabak 18 smooth and Durabak 18 non-slip to seal off the floor and driving lanes. These pictures show the condition of the areas after 15 years of service. There is still no water intrusion today.
Many of the areas were rough enough and only needed sealing, so Durabak 18 smooth was used in those areas. Most of the walking areas were very smooth and slippery when wet, so in those areas we applied Durabak 18 non-slip.The thickness of the application varied because some areas had to be durable enough to withstand the weight of a car, while other areas only had to handle commercial walking traffic.
